Software for hazardous and ADR transport

Move hazardous loads with the evidence already in hand

Hazardous goods work carries a heavier compliance load than almost any other haulage. Certified vehicles, trained drivers, and evidence that everything was done properly, on top of the everyday job of planning, tracking and invoicing. HaulierMagic keeps the operational side in one place.

  • Walkaround checks in the app, not on paper pads
  • Licence and CPC dates tracked, so lapses are visible early
  • Time-stamped ePOD, defensible when a load is questioned

The sector

The rules are strict, current, and unforgiving.

Hazardous goods work runs on a tight regulatory frame, and it moved again this year.

The ADR 2025 edition came into force on 1 January 2025, updating classification, packaging and equipment requirements.

ADR vehicles need annual DVSA approval. Drivers need a valid ADR certificate. Dangerous goods span nine hazard classes, from flammable liquids to gases, corrosives and toxic substances.

Missing or inconsistent evidence is not a paperwork problem. It is an enforcement problem.

The problem, and the fix

The evidence is the job, and paper makes it fragile.

Running on spreadsheets, paper and messages

  • Walkaround checks live on paper pads that get lost.
  • Licence and CPC expiry dates hide in a spreadsheet.
  • Proof of delivery lags, so disputes are hard to defend.
  • Compliance evidence is rebuilt from scratch for an audit.
  • Planning, tracking and billing sit in separate tools.

Running on HaulierMagic

  • Verified walkaround checks are captured in the app, not just digitised.
  • Licence and CPC details are tracked, so lapses are visible before they bite.
  • Time-stamped ePOD with photos gives a clean, defensible record.
  • Evidence is captured as work happens and ready when asked for.
  • One platform runs the operation, so nothing falls between systems.
Who it's for

Two operators, one standard of proof.

Growing operator

Peace of mind, without a bigger office

When you do the compliance admin yourself, the worry is the thing you cannot see. You get a clear record on every job without adding an office head to manage it.

  • Walkaround checks and proof of delivery in the driver app
  • Licence and CPC details tracked
  • Planning and invoicing in one place
Transport manager

Audit-ready by design

For a TM with O-licence responsibility, evidence consistency is everything, and it is exactly where audits tend to fail. DVSA evidence becomes a query, not a reconstruction project.

  • Verified walkaround checks and defect reporting
  • Driver hours visibility
  • Time-stamped proof of delivery

Questions

Hazardous goods and ADR haulage software: common questions.

Does HaulierMagic handle ADR and hazardous goods compliance?

HaulierMagic captures the operational evidence that supports compliance, including verified walkaround checks, defect reporting, proof of delivery, and licence and CPC tracking. It does not replace ADR documentation, a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser, or driver ADR certification, which remain the operator’s responsibility.

How does it help with walkaround checks?

Drivers complete daily walkaround safety checks in the app, with photos forced on any answer that is not as expected, so checks are captured and stored rather than kept on paper pads.

Can it track licence and CPC expiry?

Yes. Licence and CPC details are tracked in the platform, so lapses are visible before they become a problem.

Does it give defensible proof of delivery?

Drivers capture signatures, photos and time-stamped status at the point of delivery, giving you a clean record if a delivery is later questioned.

Is it built for UK regulation?

HaulierMagic is UK-first, designed around UK regulation, the O-licence regime, DVSA requirements and UK accounting, rather than a European platform configured for the UK.

How long does it take to go live?

Most operators are live within two to four weeks, with migration, driver onboarding and training handled alongside day-to-day operations.
